What shit nonsense is that? There's no true self or fake you. You are you and you are made up of many different characteristics, not only one. It doesn mean that a kind person cant be mean at times, it doesn mean a horrible person cant help a person in need at times.

If you can live as 'another person' for such a long time as you did, that person IS part of you. But why something else took control over you, only you know. This is why inner struggles occur, this is why inflictions on yourself occur. You can choose to avoid, choose to run but has it ever occured to you how much hurt you left behind for your friends to take? Dont pull all the innocent and guilty ones together and give them all the same treatment. It's unfair.
